One Killed, One Arrested At Spartanburg Methodist College
Campus police said a shooting occurred at Spartanburg Methodist College on Monday night.
According to Thom Berry with the SC Law Enforcement Division, agents with SLED are now on scene and crime scene technicians from Columbia en route.

SLED said one person was dead and another was in custody.
Mike Clevenger, of the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, told WYFF-TV (http://bit.ly/1WK1RsD) that the shooting was reported just before 8:45 p.m. Monday.
A police spokesman said the officer opened fire during a suspected auto theft, killing one of two people in the vehicle. Officer was treated at the scene and is reported to be OK.
Spartanburg Methodist College warned students to go to their rooms and “stay there until notified” after a “shooting on campus”. Classes will return to normal Tuesday.
SMC is on lockdown, according to their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
