OnePlus 3T Smartphone Launched in India – Specifications, Price, & Availability
The device is powered by a 3400mAh battery with support for the company’s Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging technology. The OnePlus 3T in its base variant is as good, if not better, a phone as any high-end device that costs more than Rs 50,000. It retains aluminium metal unibody design, fingerprint sensor and alert slider.
OnePlus3T comes with 16MP rear and front cameras.
OnePlus3T features a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display of 1920×1080 pixel resolution. So what’s all the hullabaloo over the new phone? It’s loaded with the latest components, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, a processor that is theoretically the fastest available for Android phones, and 6Gb RAM. The screen is protected with a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on it. It also minimizes power usage by over 30 per cent. However, OnePlus 3 only offers 64GB storage.
OnePlus, after several leaks and rumors, unveiled the successor to OnePlus, the OnePlus 3T. Moreover, the OnePlus 3T comes better equipped for Google’s Daydream platform once again because of the new processor. The main point to note is that OnePlus 3T ships in both 64GB and 128GB storage models.
The question whether an upgrade over the OnePlus 3 in such a short period of time was needed or not is another question altogether which I will leave for you to pass judgement on on your own. This was not all, either, as the OnePlus 3 was also officially discontinued upon the release of the 3T, giving buyers with little option than to purchase a more expensive device.
OnePlus has updated the camera, too.
But the most significant change comes in terms of the battery.
Battery. Battery of the OnePlus 3T is a non-removable Li-Ion 3400 mAh battery.
Despite its limited product portfolio, OnePlus has managed to make a mark on the smartphone industry. It will allow you to charge your device from 0-100% within just about an hour.
As far as the prices are concerned, the 64GB variant of smartphone has been priced at $439 (Rs 29,800 approx) in U.S., while 128GB variant was priced at $479 (Rs 32,500). OnePlus even claimed they have worked on improving speeds at which apps open.
