Sadly there was no actual image of the phone, but the guys at TrueTech luckily managed to capture the Amazon India page before it was taken down.
OnePlus India has teased the launch of its upcoming OnePlus X smartphone in the country with a Facebook post that says “See you on October 29, India”. A series of event posters were even shared on Weibo all showing a lighted “X” from OnePlus.cn.
There have been much speculation over the last few weeks with regards to the latest device to come from OnePlus.
OnePlus X has been one of the most anticipated devices this month, and the rumor mills have been churning out leaks and information in full swing.
Chinese handset maker OnePlus has confirmed that it is working on a new smartphone, rumored to be a smaller variant of latest flagship, the OnePlus 2, that will be released in Christmas this year. Previous leaks have suggested that the smartphone will have a 13MP camera on the back and an 8MP camera in front.
Although this doesn’t give us a new picture of the OnePlus Mini, it does first of all confirm that name – so it’s not going to be called OnePlus X after all. Under the hood, an octa-core (MediaTek MT6795) Helio X10 SoC, clocked at 2.2 GHz will power the device and will be backed by a modest 2 GB of RAM. From the photos, it appears the device, which could be the OnePlus X, could appear with a black rear featuring a curved edge, a single LED flash below a camera lens that sits in the left hand corner, as well as a logo that is positioned just high of the centre.
OnePlus X specifications and features: Based on leaks and reports that we’ve come across so far, the alleged OnePlus X which was recently spotted on FCC website, hints at a design change, compared to the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2.
On the software end, the OnePlus Mini will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, alongside the Oxygen OS 3.0.
