OnePlus To Launch Limited Edition Avengers-Themed OnePlus 6

And, just a couple of hours ahead of the launch, this special edition OnePlus 6 has surfaced online.

The smartphone comes in a carbon black textured back panel with gold-colored accents. The three-stage alert slider is also painted in gold. While not confirmed yet, there’s also a possibility of OnePlus bundling custom themes and ringtones inspired by the Marvel Avengers franchise like they did with Stars Wars Edition. Check out the pictures below. This means that besides China, India is very likely one of the first few countries that will see distribution of the limited edition OnePlus 6. It is the first phone in India to launch with this processor, although there are equivalents such as Samsung’s flagship devices. Notably, OnePlus 6 price that was revealed in London is $529, with its top model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage carrying a $629 tag. The flagship smartphone comes with a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, offering 19:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.

It has a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS and EIS. The OnePlus 5T on the other hand sports a Snapdragon 835 SoC, with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU. That’s pretty much all that’s changed design wise compared to the regular OnePlus 6. On the back, it has a dual-rear camera setup that consists of a 16-megapixel sensor and 20-megapixel sensor.

Users can record 4k Video up to 60 fps which is an unprecedented feature. There’s also plenty of artificial intelligence to go around, optimizing photos with Smart Capture, customizing bokeh shots, and perfecting the Portrait Mode. The company is hosting live streaming of OnePlus 6 India launch event on its YouTube channel. The fingerprint sensor returns and is situated just under the vertically placed dual cameras on the back.

OnePlus is expected to show off a Marvel Avengers Limited Edition OnePlus 6 device as part of its partnership with the comics franchise.

The device runs a 3,300 mAh battery with quick charging, is dust- and water-resistant and comes with Android 8.1 based on the OnePlus Oxygen OS.
