OnePlus unveils a OnePlus Sandstone Case for the iPhone 6

OnePlus 2’s iPhone 6s and 6 case amounts to nothing more than a clever, albeit shallow marketing tactic.

The OnePlus Sandstone Case is made for the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 6s and measures 138.7mm x 70.2mm x 10.5mm with a weight of 20grams.

But this is OnePlus, and with OnePlus, there’s always a catch, caveat, or deal.

OnePlus surprised a lot of people with the OnePlus X release, but today’s announcement trumps their previous one as it’s something nobody saw coming.

OnePlus sells a quite a few accessories for its phones, including screen protectors and cases. The new OnePlus Sandstone Case is geared towards folks that prefer iOS over Android, and they are throwing in a couple of perks to boot. Who knows you might end up with a free OnePlus X at your doorstep.

Sandstone has become synonymous with OnePlus with TIME Magazine once even raving that the “Sandstone Black” option of the OnePlus 2’s back cover “feels something like a smooth sandpaper that’s grippy, but also comfortable” and flat out “that good”. And as we mentioned before, they’re limited in quantity and come with a perk of a guaranteed invite for a OnePlus X, or a free one, if you’re lucky enough. A phone case to be exact, but it doesn’t fit any of the phones it’s made. Each one comes with a physical OnePlus X invite in the packaging – but it’s no regular invite. Make sure to claim it to see if you got lucky.
