OnePlus X Teased Ahead Of October 29 Launch

It’s official, and reservations are filling: on October 29, OnePlus will kick off a launch event for its newest handset dubbed the OnePlus X (otherwise known as the OnePlus Mini). A teaser image on the company’s blog confirms the announcement by featuring an “X” on a set of images. Chief executive Carl Pei already confirmed there would be a second device launched this year.
OnePlus was founded in 2013 upon the idea of creating industry-competitive smartphones at a much more reasonable cost than its large-brand rivals. The display is a 5-inch IPS unit with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 401 ppi.
Although we thought the OnePlus X and OnePlus Mini are the same device, rumor has it that they are entirely different devices.
