Oppo announces R5s smartphone with 3GB RAM
Oppo introduced an upgraded variant of its well known super-slim R5 handset and it will be called “R5s”.
Chinese smartphone company Oppo recently unveiled the new Oppo R5s, an upgraded version of the previous Oppo R5.
The newly launched R5s is only listed in the company’s European website at 199 euros. By the conversion value, R5s will cost around 15,000 in the Indian market.
Along with the gracious increase in RAM, the R5s features a 5.2-inch AMOLED Full HD display.
While the new Oppo R5s retains one of the highlight features of its predecessor – the 4.85mm thickness – it also brings few improvements.
The camera remains the same: a 13 megapixels rear-facing camera can be found, which is equipped with a Sony IMX214 sensor, and has an f/2.0 aperture for better image shooting even in low lighting conditions, and the ability to record videos of up to 4K resolution (3840×2160) at 30 frame rates per second.
The R7 Plus also features Oppo’s VOOC fast-charging technology, which – according to the specs – gets you two hours of conversation after five minutes of charging. Oppo R5s comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Global Positioning System and NFC. The Oppo R5s measures 148.9×74.5×4.85mm and weighs 155 grams. An LED flash and a f/2.0 aperture.
The price for the R7 Plus is 2,999 yuan ($470) in China and Southeast Asia; it will be available in other markets via the Oppo Style store, but the exact date has not yet been announced.
On the memory front, this device has 32GB of inbuilt memory, with an expansion option along with Hybrid dual SIM slot which can be used as microSD card as well.
