Oppo Neo 7 with 5-inch display and Snapdragon chip unveiled
Oppo will offer the Neo 7 in the United States, India, and other worldwide markets.
If you remember Oppo’s Neo 5, it had a distinctive feature in its reflective rear back that is replicated in a new phone: the Oppo Neo 7. There’s 16GB storage with support for microSD expansion. For better selfies in the dark, the company also included the virtual flash option which turns your display to its maximum brightness when capturing a selfie.
But of course the crowning glory, so to speak, of the smartphone is its removable mirror surface. The screen is a 5-inch display with 16 million colours and HDR support, the resolution isn’t mentioned on the official site which is always worrying. The dualSIM cards phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with the company’s custom ColorOS 2.1 skin on top.
Oppo Neo 7 is powered by a 2,420mAh battery, it measures 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.55mm and weighs around 140g (battery included). It has a micro-arc frame with rounded edges, and the frame comes in gold or silver colors. The device will be available in Ivory White and Midnight Blue colors.
The product page for the Oppo Neo 7 informs us that as well as an worldwide model and one for India, there will also be a United States version on the way.
