Opportunistic Pizza Planters Are Ruining Pizza Rat

As the robber tries to flee with the goods, Pizza Rat 2 scampers over and triumphantly tugs the pizza back from his rival.

A few weeks back, the Internet exploded when a video of a rat carrying a slice of pizza down the stairs of a New York City subway station went viral.

A video posted to YouTube showed the rat dragging an entire slice pizza down a flight of stairs in a subway station in Manhattan.

He has yet to comment on these new pizza-loving rodents.

The original Pizza Rat became an internet phenomenon on September 20, and was trending all day on Twitter (He even got his own Twitter handle @NYCPizzaRat)!

The latest mousecapade was posted to Instagram Thursday by Jonathen Lewd who proudly proclaimed, “I win today interwebs”. The human user sent out amusing messages like, “Wasn’t trying to make a statement, humans”. Unlike the O.G. pizza rat, I do not relate to these greedy new rats at all. Where did the rats get a whole pizza slice from? Like the original video, the costume is somehow both gross and semi-cute at the same time.
