Original Plans For Finn Balor’s WWE Universal Title Reign
Irish wrestler Balor has enjoyed a phenomenal rise through the ranks, having gone from Raw debutant a month ago to the spearhead of the WWE after his victory over Rollins at Sunday’s SummerSlam event. In addition to the matches being exciting, numerous results were surprising, and that opens up quite the possibilities for future match-ups. Next month, this rivalry will end in a high-profile match. I think that they just hit the reset button to make Roman more aggressive. Rollins, Kevin Owens, Big Cass and Roman Reigns earned their ticket to the match by winning their singles matches on Monday. The pinfall came after that. Plus, Raw needs a good heel team besides Anderson and Gallows. The crowed was audibly disappointed at nothing more occurring.
With a somewhat disappointing SummerSlam 2016, it’s time for the brand PPV’s and Raw will have its first PPV called Clash of the Champions. He has yet to headline a pay-per-view, coming closest when he had matches with John Cena in 2015.
Who is the favorite to become the next WWE Universal Champion?
Anderson and Gallows vs.
Hart was also previously critical of Rollins for getting injured while he was WWE Champion. “Dolph and Dean is gonna be unbelievable”. But Ziggler is doing seller mic work and so is Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe pinned him after that and retained his title. The third person in that latter team should have been Eva Marie, but she was unable to attend due to medical issues. He did great work in TNA and got even better during his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling. She is the Princess of Staten Island, after all.
Balor, weeks after his call-up from NXT, beat Seth Rollins on Sunday to win the inaugural WWE Universal Championship, the flagship title on the company’s flagship show, RAW. That wasn’t good enough, so Balor climbed for another Coup de Grace but missed. However, fans ended up hearing the sad news, the next night at the beginning of the show. He left his “Never Give Up” arm band in the ring after the match. Lesnar was declared the victor by TKO (technical knock out). The fatal four way would be Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Rusev, and Finn Balor.
-Ross on Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins: “Two things that I am not buying into and that is 1”. I was surprised by the finish, but I love the JeriKO team, so I’m happy they got the win too.
Powell’s POV: Clearly, Lesnar did not go into business for himself and the idea was for the elbow to the head to intentionally open a cut on Orton’s head.
