OSBI: Woman found shot in head in rural Woodward County home

The Woodward County Sheriff’s office said they were searching for Chris Solida, 39, after finding his wife, Brandy Solida, 33, in her home suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

The Oklahoma State Bureua of Investigation confirms the standoff is with Chris Solida, a Woodward County man wanted for questioning in the shootingof his wife earlier today.

GREAT BEND -Law enforcement blocked off 10th Street in Great Bend from Washington to Harrison on Friday night during a standoff that lasted over four hours. Bond on the Oklahoma warrant is set at $1 Million.

Solida is also charged in Barton County with aggravated endangerment of a child, aggravated criminal threat and criminal use of a firearm. Bond on those charges is set at $50,000.

Upon disposition of the local charges Solida will be subject to an extradition hearing and returned to Oklahoma.
