Out Now: iOS 9

Apple CEO Tim Cook hinted at the possibility during an interview with Buzzfeed, published Tuesday. Once you’re charged and the time is right, you’ll head into your device’s Settings. Has anyone ever actually used Tips? It’s because when you install an update like iOS 8, your iPhone needs to shuffle around some files in the background, and it needs space to do that. The reason why software updates are so large is because they first have to download to the phone in their entirety while the old OS is running.

Tapping the share button in Safari, Maps and many other apps will also allow you to save attachments to a new or existing note.

Either way we suppose we’ll just have to wait and see how well iOS 9 does upon its release, but what do you guys think?

If you don’t want to do it via iCloud, you can plug in your device to your computer and back up to iTunes. “So I recognise that some people want to do this, and it’s something we’re looking at”. If you were to ask Siri the forecast without the weather app, where would that data come from?

Apple’s latest mobile operating system, iOS 9, will officially be available for download Wednesday for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users. It’s a free download, so you won’t have to break out your credit card.

Update; it turns out that downloading iOS 9 via iTunes is working correctly for most users, so for the moment, OTA updates might the only ones impacted by the issue.
