Outfielder Corey Dickerson Traded to Rays, McGee Headed to Colorado
The Colorado Rockies have reportedly traded left handed outfielder Corey Dickerson to the Tampa Bay Rays for relief pitcher Jake McGee according to reports. The teams also swapped minor league pitchers in the deal.
Colorado had an abundance of left-handed hitting outfielders with the recent signing of Gerardo Parra.

Dickerson, 26, has done nothing but hit since the Rockies selected him in the eighth round of the 2010 draft.
The Colorado Rockies possessed one of the worst bullpens in the Major League Baseball in 2015, so by acquiring hard-throwing lefty Jake McGee, they seemed to have addressed their glaring hole in the back-end of the bullpen.
McGee signed a one-year, $4.8 million tenure with the Rays last week.
The starting outfield would likely be Dickerson in left, Kiermaier in center and Souza in right, leaving Guyer as the primary backup and Morrison and Pearce splitting time between designated hitter and backing up at both first base and the outfield.
