Overwatch Beta Returns on February 9th
The Overwatch Closed Beta came and left us so soon.
Blizzard is introducing an “all-new progression system” to the game, along with two new maps and a new game mode. Blizzard also stated that additional invites will be sent out, and encourages gamers to opt-in to the Overwatch beta in their Battle.net account settings if they haven’t done so already.
Next Tuesday, on the 9th of February Overwatch, will be playable once again and aside from the other new features, there will also be updates made to private matches and AI bots. You can find more information about these bonuses right here. Make sure you pen down your name before February 09.
The original intention was to take a break for a month, make changes to the game based on the data collected, and then bring the servers back up in mid-late January.
In addition to the major changes mentioned above, Blizzard will allow ganers to play with their friends and AIs.
If you are lucky enough to be in the closed beta probgram, you’ll be happy to know the beta is coming back next week.
Although it doesn’t feature any in-game footage, here’s a recent cinematic trailer for Overwatch. It is expected sometime during Q2 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
