Packers CBs Shields, Rollins out vs. Panthers

That game will be televised exclusively in Western Wisconsin at 12 noon Sunday at FOX 25/48.

Expect Rodgers to try and turn things around and bounce back – making this game against the Panthers one to watch out for.

For the second consecutive week, the Packers will take to the road to face an undefeated team.

A pulsating duel in Charlotte saw Cam Newton and the Panthers defy a late onslaught by Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to move to 8-0. The Carolina defense is strong, but Rodgers will not likely have two straight awful games. “That’s not the type of game that we are capable of playing, but we just have to look past it at this point”. Matthews is listed as probable after getting his ankle rolled last week in Denver, and the Packers will need their defensive player of the year candidate to be full strength against Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

That meant the fifth-year quarterback tearing down a large Green Bay Packers banner before the game that was hanging over the inside wall of the stadium – and later taking down the Packers by throwing for three touchdowns and running for another in a 37-29 win. So the guess here is that Aaron Rodgers, coach Mike McCarthy and play caller Tom Clements rebound from last week’s horrid showing at Denver and put up enough points to win.
