Packers have injury concerns at cornerback

If those games were any indication of what this team is capable of, then I think we can all agree that the Cowboys are not only one of the best teams in the entire National Football League, but should be well on their way to making a push for the playoffs. This absolutely had an impact later in the game as the defense struggled to make plays, such as on his 29-yard run late in the fourth quarter.

But Prescott’s efficient, take-what-the-defense-gives play has Dallas’ offense surging with momentum.

Garrett said the team did not know the test results. “This is not hard times”.

Rod Marinelli has the Dallas defense executing at a high level for the 5-1 Cowboys.

Well, not exactly. Prescott was 18 for 27 for 247 yards, and threw three touchdown passes and the first interception of his career.

“I think it’s like anything with the quarterback: When things go great, he gets a ton of credit, and when they don’t, obviously a lot of it falls on him”, McCarthy said.

Regardless, Bulaga said his back is “progressing” since Sunday.

Prescott’s play has dramatically altered the Cowboys present and future outlook. It goes to David Irving for his strip-sack and recovery inside the five-yard line, snuffing out what could have been a rally for the Packers. These things happen. No one is expecting Prescott to be flawless every game. “Everybody wants to be on the field”.

“I love the fact that I’m here”, says Elliott. “But as far as big picture, each and every day, the work ethic and all those things, I have great confidence that we’ll learn from this experience”.

So the Cowboys continue, headed to their bye, and the mystery lingers.

Romo has put up impressive individual numbers when healthy, but the Cowboys haven’t had much success with the quarterback under center. The team is on a bye this week, which means Jerry Jones is probably going to huddle with Jason Garrett and figure out who should be the team’s starting quarterback for the second half of the season. I don’t see this team, this staff – I don’t see anybody around here – Tony or Dak that fragile.
