Padmavati Movie Trailer Unveiled: Rani Padmavati Has Arrived
Deepika essays the role of Rani Padmini, wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh (played by Shahid), the King of Chittor while Ranveer portrays Sultan Alauddin Khilji. At an NDTV event when asked what would be his all-time favourite delicacy, the Bajirao Mastani actor exclaimed enthusiastically, “Mutton, mutton, mutton!” It was also reported that playing Khilji had taken a toll on Ranveer’s mind and consequentially, he actually had his friends anxious. Since the movie Padmavati is based on the same event, the makers chose this odd timing. From Alauddin Khilji’s beastly, menacing demeanour to Rani Padmini’s unibrow and get-up, the three-minute trailer of Padmavati abounds the in intricate detailing that Bhansali has become famous for now. Khilji’s evil character is brought alive on screen by Ranveer, who is reportedly so immersed in the role that he has to that psychiatric help to do away with its ill effects. It is Deepika who plays the titular role of Padmavati, a queen so lovely – says legend – that you could see betel juice in her throat when she ate paan.
The trailer of Padmavati is out and actor Ranveer Singh sure knows how to shock and awe.
P.S: You may often see her stealing the director’s “naashta”!
The Background Music- The very first thing that entraps you in the trailer is the riveting background music that is given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself.
Deepika and Shahid first moments – Padmavati trailer gives a sneak-peak into relationship between the characters. In the whole trailer, there is lack of dialogue but it is beautifully picturised in a Rajasthan.
“Rajputi Kangan Mein Utni Hi Taaqat Hai, Jitni Rajputi Talvaar Mein Hai”. The Acting, costume, music, cinematography everything is ideal in the trailer.
The most awaited movie of the year is all set to release on 1st December. Much like all of SLB’s films, the sets and the costumes in this one are extravagant.
