Pak behind Uri attack: PM

“Terrorists should hear out clearly that India will never forget the Uri attack.

Sartaj Aziz said that India always blames Pakistan even before investigating but Pakistan wants fair inquiry of the event.

Addressing a public gathering in Kerala on the sidelines of the BJP national council meeting, PM Modi said that terrorism is affecting India’s neighbours, including Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Saturday evening that it would release an official reaction to Modi’s comments later.

“India has and never will bow down in the face of terrorism”, Modi said.

September 24: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Saturday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on Pakistan as “brave”, saying that the Prime Minister had shown “Pakistan a mirror”.

The Prime Minister also said, “There is one nation in Asia whose aim is that the 21st century does not become Asia’s and is associated with terrorism”. We will quicken our campaign to isolate Pakistan in the world.

He hit out at Sharif ‘s reference to Hizbul leader Burhan Wani in his United Nations speech, describing it as a “stuti gaan (eulogy)” of a terrorist.

PM Modi also said that “terrorism is the enemy of humanity” and people need to join their hands to defeat terrorism.

Modi’s speech in the southern Indian town of Kozhikode was his first since 18 soldiers were killed in an attack on an army base in Indian-controlled Kashmir last Sunday.

Modi warned Islamabad that India would continue to push to make Pakistan a pariah state in the eyes of the global community.

“What is happening is even Russian Federation who was our consistent friend, is unfortunately doing (military) exercises with Pakistan which has never happened before…” You are unable to manage PoK, Sindh, Gilgit- Baltistan and Balochistan, and you are talking of Kashmir… He taunted the Pakistani government, asking: “The leaders of (our) neighbouring country used to say that they will fight for 1000 years, but where are they lost now?” He said that before the Uri attack, the Army and other security forces, including J&K police, had foiled 17 attempts by Pakistan to push in terrorists. He said, India is being recognized the world over as the fastest moving economy.
