Pakistan Expels 100 Turkish Teachers
The Erdogan administration blames Gulen for an attempt by the military to stage a coup in July this year, and has demanded his extradition from the United States.

Mr Erdogan described the decision by Pakistan as “very pleasing”. He asserted that West was supplying arms to rebel groups and that Turkey was pursuing action against terrorists.
Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq welcomed the Turkish President and his delegation during his speech at the start of the session. “We are brother countries in real sense”.
Erdogan, who arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday, lauded Pakistan’s support during a frustrated coup in July.
“The PKK is on the list of [banned] terrorist organizations on paper in Germany and Europe, but that’s not the truth”, Yeneroğlu said, accusing Western countries of failing to properly fight terrorism despite their own intelligence services urging the governments to do so. “Our feelings for the brotherly citizens of Turkey and your leadership transcend all our political issues”, he said.
“We are in the process of taking necessary steps so this evil network and the band of murderers actually face justice and take the necessary punishments”, he said.
Further talking about the worldwide terrorism, Erdogan urged unity among Muslim Ummah against all conspiracies to defame Islam.
“I welcome you as a well-wisher and an ally of Pakistan”, the then leader of opposition Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had said in his felicitation speech in the parliament.
A senior interior ministry official said visas of the educational chain’s staff had been cancelled and staffs were issued letters on Sunday, informing them they had one week to leave the country, according to Dawn.
The two sides expressed satisfaction over the existing level of cooperation in different areas and chose to further strengthen them in the days to come.
Pakistan confirmed Wednesday it had ordered the deportation of 130 teachers along with school staff and their families – some 450 people in total – by November 20.
Turkey is to scrap the office of the prime minister in a historic switch under a government-backed proposal for a new presidential system, a cabinet minister said on Thursday. “Turkey supports Pakistan’s battle until the end”.
Erdogan who was received with a rousing welcome at Prime Minister house also expressed his views about Pakistan and said that the free trade agreement between the two countries would be finalised by the next year.
He referred to the sacrifices rendered by Muslims of South Asia during Khilafat Movement and said the Turkish nation would every remain indebted to Pakistan.
