Pakistan mourns Taliban campus attack victims
They said the terrorists have challenged honour of the nation by attacking innocent students in the university and would not be spared.

After the fatal assault on Pakistan’s Bachha Khan University which killed about 20 people, the Taliban has released a video showing a senior Pakistani Taliban commander vowing to carry out further attacks on schools in the country.
Jamil Chitrali, president of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa University Teaching Staff Association, said more teachers were now carrying personal weapons as security had worsened. However, the fugitive leadership of the umbrella group denied involvement.
“I want to tell the terrorists, they can never win, they will lose, we will win, we the followers of peace and not terrorism”, Shah Hussain, father of the caretaker Fakhr-e-Alam, told AFP.
“We are determined and resolved in our commitment to wipe out the menace of terrorism from our homeland”, declared Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Among those who died was assistant chemistry professor Syed Hamid Husain who was lauded for challenging the gunmen and firing at them with his pistol while his terrified students raced for cover.
Pakistani security forces eventually killed the four attackers, with the Taliban taking credit for the assault thereafter.
The incident happened in Angoor Adda Bazaar in the South Waziristan tribal district, one of the seven semi-autonomous regions where the Pakistani military has been battling Taliban and Al-Qaeda linked militants for more than a decade.
He went on to confirm that authorities suspect the assault on the university was planned and directed by militant groups residing in Afghanistan, adding that one of the organisers had made as many as 10 calls to the attackers on a mobile phone that had an Afghan SIM card.
