Pakistan to raise RAW interference at UN: Sartaj
It was informed in the National Assembly on Friday that the government is thinking to highlight the issue of Indian agency RAW’s hands in Pakistan with the United Nations and on other global platforms.
Aziz further said that the issue of Kashmir was an integral part of the Pak-India dialogue. He made the remarks while responding to questions in the Pakistan National Assembly today.
Earlier this year, however, Islamabad decided to take a tougher approach towards India and forcefully raised its concerns over alleged Indian involvement in acts of terrorism in the country.
Sartaj Aziz said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also raise this issue at the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly in September.
He expressed condolences and sympathies of the government and people of Pakistan to the government and people of India, a statement released by Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson said.
Sartaj Aziz rejected accusations of Indian media about Pakistan’s involvement in Gurdaspur attack, and said “Pakistan will give a befitting reply to Indian aggression”. “The efforts have helped increase Pakistan’s exports to Europe up to 1.5 billion dollars”, he said, adding that the TDAP in co-ordination with relevant consulates and trade officers ensured participation of Pakistani exporters in 37 exhibitions in 2013-14 and 38 in 2014-15 across the globe.
