Palestinian health official: 2 Palestinians killed in clash with Israeli
The military said three people had been shot in the raid, adding that hundreds of Palestinians had clashed with the soldiers and thrown firebombs, improvised explosive devices and rocks at them.
Thousands of mourners have held the funeral procession for two Palestinians killed by Israeli forces during a raid in Qalandiya refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
The home targeted was that of Mohamed Abu Shahin, accused of shooting dead Israeli hiker Danny Gonen, 25, in June.
Palestinians say Israel’s attempt to link their liberation struggle and the Paris attacks is cynical and misleading, and seeks to shield Israel from the condemnation it deserves for 48 years of military occupation.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks and a man hunt was taking place in Belgium on Monday to apprehend suspects.
Speaking at Bar Ilan University in 2008, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasted that Israel was “benefitting” from the 11 September 2001 al-Qaeda attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, which he credited with having “swung American public opinion in our favor”. Another cartoon shows two matches in a matchbox labeled “Terrorism”, with the head of one match shaped like an ISIS terrorist and the other like an Orthodox Jew.
Palestinian leaders, however, have linked the attacks against Israel to what they describe as defense of the Temple Mount. It is clear that its “Mossad” will burn Beirut and Paris in order to achieve [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s goals.

Confrontations and clashes have erupted in the past over such demolitions, but they have rarely been as deadly as Monday’s at the Qalandiya refugee camp, just beyond a checkpoint leading from east Jerusalem to the occupied West Bank.
The experts welcomed the reported clarification by Israeli Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to the effect that Israeli security forces are prohibited from firing at a suspected assailant unless an immediate danger to human life can not otherwise be prevented and that the use of fire must be proportional to the threat. Medics identified them as father-of-three Ahmed al-Ayesh, 28, and Laith Manasra, 21.
While the civilized world mourns for Paris and prepares to take the fight to ISIS, the official Palestinian Authority media is making the preposterous claim that Israel was behind Friday’s attacks that killed 129 people in the French capital. It is the terrorists who are to blame for terrorism, not the territories, not the settlements and not any other thing.
Before demolishing the Shaheen home, located on the top floor of a three-story building in the middle of the crowded camp, the army ordered all residents in the area to leave their homes.
A tense calm settled over the camp after Israeli forces withdrew, as dozens of young men came to inspect Abu Shaheen’s destroyed home and the damage surrounding it.

The clashes broke out during the morning operation to demolish the home of Mohammed Abu Shahin.
The United Nations says almost one in five residents is unemployed and around 60% are under 25.
“We heard that maybe an Israeli soldier was killed during the start of it, and I swear my first reaction was I wish there were 10 more of them dead”, he said.
