Palestinian killed after West Bank attack on Israeli troops
Ministry spokesman Mohammed Awawdeh says Yehya Taha died in a Ramallah hospital of bullet wounds to the head. No Israelis were hurt in that attack, Samri added.
Police and the Palestinian Health Ministry said the driver was the brother of a man who on Sunday had been shot dead in a similar incident nearby.
Israeli troops shot and killed two Palestinians after they rammed their cars into soldiers in separate attacks in the West Bank on Friday as the country’s defense minister urged Israelis to brace themselves for more violence, saying he can not see an end to the near-daily Palestinian attacks.
Over half of them have been alleged perpetrators of stabbing, shooting and vehicle ramming attacks aimed at Israeli civilians and security forces. At least 93 Palestinian have died, including 59 said by Israel to be attackers.
IDF Central Command is meanwhile fortifying several of its West Bank positions and constructing new roads to bypass trouble spots like the Etzion Junction, the scene of several attacks in recent weeks. The Palestinians claim all of the West Bank for part of a future state. One of the boys, an eighteen year old from Abu Sneineh was taken to the police station, while the worldwide activists continued to monitor the events and ask for the age of the younger child who was still outside, detained by Israeli forces.
The fence will have similar technology as the recently constructed Israeli fence on the Egyptian frontier meant to deter infiltration of militants or migrants seeking asylum. Egypt is struggling to put down an Islamic insurgency in the volatile northern Sinai Peninsula, which borders Israel.
Kerry – just back in the United States after visiting Israel and the West Bank for the first time in more than a year – says the U.S.is pressing both sides to show a “genuine commitment” to a two-state peace solution.
The IDF said that during a search conducted in the town clashes erupted, in which rocks and fire bombs were hurled at the force. Throughout the unrest, Palestinian security forces have maintained a longstanding system of security cooperation to help contain the violence.

But there was no indication that any headway was made in his meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
