Palestinian Killed in Israeli Raid on Hospital
Palestinians are angry at increasing violence by Israeli settlers at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound and their attacks on Palestinian properties, saying that the Tel Aviv regime seeks to change the status quo of the compound. The southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron was the second city on the list of the most detentions, with 70 Palestinians detained, including 50 minors.
US Congressional sources told Israeli daily Haaretz that Israel requested $5 billion in annual defense aid from the U.S. that would be fixed for the next ten years.
Israel’s Supreme Court said yesterday it would not intervene to prevent the demolition of five houses belonging to Palestinians accused or suspected of involvement in three recent deadly attacks on Israelis.
The Shin Bet said the troops came under attack from one of the man’s relatives, 27-year-old Abdallah Shalaldeh, and responded by shooting him dead.
The city is home to a few 500 Israeli settlers, squeezed among 200,000 Palestinians.

While Shaoor said there was a Palestinian Authority police officer standing guard, in addition to the hospital’s private security, the family of Abdullah claim the PA police had intentionally not been guarding the hospital that night.
This means more people will lose their land.

Azaam, the young man who was arrested, was in the hospital getting treatment for an attack that happened around a month previously.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.
The footage released by the hospital showed about a dozen men entering a hospital ward.
The Israeli military operates an undercover unit colloquially known as Duvdevan, which sometimes mingle undetected with Palestinians during riots before snatching suspects.
