Palestinians gather for funeral of shot woman as violence continues
The two were identified as Nour-Adin Saba’aneh, 23, and Mohammed Rafeeq Saba’aneh, 17; Both are from Qabatia town near Jenin in northern West Bank.

Weeks before, two 16-year-old Palestinians were shot dead at the checkpoint, one of whom was run over and shot by prominent Israeli settler Gershon Mesika after he said she was attempting to carry out an attack. The man aroused suspicion while walking through the Christian Quarter of the Old City, when asked to show ID he pulled a knife. A nearby security guard apprehended the attacker who was then taken into police custody.
The Israeli military, while confirming the incident, said that one Israeli soldier was injured.
The incident was captured on security camera footage. The latest round of U.S.-brokered peace talks collapsed in April 2014.
Israel says the unrelenting violence is fanned by a Palestinian campaign of lies and incitement. The site, Islam’s holiest outside Saudi Arabia, is also revered by many Jews as a vestige of their biblical temples.
Israeli leaders says Islamist groups who call for the destruction of Israel have played a major role in inciting the recent violence.
