Palestinians killed, 4 Israelis wounded in latest violence
Israeli police said four Israelis, including a 14-year-old girl, were injured Sunday when an assailant who was later apprehended struck them with a vehicle then stabbed them outside the entrance to a kibbutz near the northern city of Hadera. The Palestinian man died in the gunfire, and two Israeli police officers were injured in the gunfire.

However, Mr Wshah, a Palestinian resident of East Jerusalem, said he witnessed the events from several metres away. He was praised for averting a major terror attack by local police chief Rafi Cohen, who said he had no doubt that the woman had meant to drive to Jerusalem.
However, within the next day, a young Palestinian was reportedly killed by Israeli police near the Old City in unknown circumstances, and two others, including a 13-year-old boy from Aida Refugee camp, were reportedly killed during clashes with Israeli security forces.
Clashes also erupted in Beit Umar, southern West Bank, where a Palestinian killed in clashes was buried on Sunday, with medics saying eight people were wounded by rubber bullets and four by live fire.
The attack appeared to mark the first use of an explosive device in the current round of violence following a series of stabbing and shooting assaults.

Palestinian sources also report that a Jewish driver tried to run over a group of Palestinian children in an East Jerusalem neighborhood.
In response to renewed rocket fire towards Israel, the military said it carried out air strikes in Gaza targeting Hamas weapons manufacturing facilities.
The attack was the latest in a wave of Palestinian knife attacks on Israeli security forces and citizens over the past 10 days that have complicated efforts to prevent what are largely unorganized and random acts, leaving five Israelis dead.
But Israel’s internal security agency, the Shin Bet, later said that the 31-year-old woman had no known links to militant groups and had used “flammable materials” to cause a single gas canister to ignite when the policeman approached.
“Israel is provoking violence in Jerusalem and creating a situation of instability as cover to exercise control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque [Islam’s third holiest site], transform the character of Jerusalem, annex more Palestinian land and step up its illegal settlement-building activities”, she said.
