Pamela Anderson — Baywatch Remake Is Going To Suck
Hollywood is remaking Baywatch into a feature film that will star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron and one original cast member isn’t happy about it.
Pamela Anderson has spoken about her unhappiness over the upcoming Baywatch movie, according to TMZ. She told TMZ that no-one “appreciates the re-makes” when asked for her feelings on the matter.
Baywatch fans have barely been able to contain their excitement since it was announced that the nineties series is being made into a movie.
“It’s going to be R-rated, and it’s going to be badass”, Zac told Reuters.
“I think we’re going like pretty big with it and I don’t think it’s going to be much like the old Baywatch to be honest”.
Dwayne, meanwhile, did acknowledge the need to take “great care” when rebooting a TV show that was beloved around the world.
“We want to make a big movie – a fun beach movie”, he revealed at the D23 convention.
Filming is expected to start early next year.
The plot will follow a straight-laced lifeguard, played by Johnson, who is forced to work with a rowdy newcomer, played by Efron, as an evil oil tycoon plans to destroy the beach they both work on.
He also hinted that agents of some of the most gorgeous current models and actresses have expressed their desire to be a part of “Baywatch” movie as one of the female lifeguards, the report added.
After her run on Baywatch, Pamela starred on two more multi-season shows: V.I.P. from 1998 to 2002 and Stacked from 2005 to 2006.
