Panthers Announce They Will Play In Black Jerseys For Super Bowl 50

While Peyton has not addressed the notion of retirement publicly – and, according to Eli, privately – the speculation certainly will remain at the forefront of Super Bowl 50 between now and when the confetti falls at game’s end February 7.

With over 16 years separating Rivera’s first look at Manning in a game to this upcoming Super Bowl, the Panthers head coach still sees much of what he saw then. This game would determine if these future National Football League hall-of-famers would bring their team to yet another Super Bowl appearance.

The 28-year-old heaped praise upon Manning after the Panthers practiced Thursday, telling reporters there was “no one better in my book” – even if Manning “has got some age on him”.

CBS Sports broadcasts Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7 (6:30 PM, ET), live from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., as the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers. Manning is an all-time great, but does he have enough in the tank to knock off a Carolina team that has only lost once this season?

Ahead of Super Bowl 50, SI.com broke down Manning’s performances on football’s biggest stage.

“I wouldn’t say I view it as an extra point anymore”, Panthers kicker Graham Gano said. “The biggest issue is just refocusing, knowing you didn’t get to warm up at all”.

“Not at all. We’re assuming, ” Thomas said.

The NFL banned HGH, and the allegations made by the Al Jazeera have stated that Manning’s wife received deliveries of the banned substance at their home.

“I will be honest with you about it: I was against it. I didn’t like it. I thought it was going to change the game”. “We’ve seen the teams, we know what they are about”, said Simms.

No one forced more turnovers than the Panthers, and only five clubs gave up fewer points (the Broncos were one, naturally). “One of the nice things that I’m really grateful for is the fact that I think our guys have taken ownership of a lot of things in this building”.
