Panthers spokesman: DBs didn’t taunt Beckman with bat

“A lot of people will start pointing that way that this is a great opportunity to evaluate players in regular-season games”, Garrett said Monday. I feel like the league should take a look at what the guy was doing.

For the Giants, losing the game and losing Beckham for a week may very well end their postseason hopes.

Minnesota needs a victory to secure a playoff berth. They’re also still in contention for a ideal season-assuming they’re able to put the focus back on football. On Monday, Coughlin offered this seemingly stern statement about Beckham.

NFL Network reported Beckham was separated from Carolina practice-squad player Marcus Ball during pregame warmups.

Still, Rivera likes the fact that Carolina’s final two games – against the Falcons, and next week at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – both have some importance to the Panthers.

Beckham, who was not made available for comment, is not new to controversy.

“Whatever happens, we’ll find a way to keep fighting”.

It doesn’t matter that it was mutual. It’s no different for Beckham than it is for any rising star, because the better you play and the more attention you get, the bigger the target you become for opposing players.
