Panthers too good, versatile for Broncos No. 1 defense

Manning has returned to the NFL’s grandest stage this weekend as a Denver Bronco, albeit at the end of a poor season personally, and, although he is reluctant to discuss his future plans, there is a sense that bowing out after Sunday’s game with the Carolina Panthers would be the flawless time.

The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers wrapped up final preparations for Super Bowl 50 on Saturday, with the Broncos working out at Levi’s Stadium and the Panthers at San Jose State. But it sure feels that way.

Peyton Manning is one of the best quarterbacks ever, but he’s had little to do with the Broncos’ success.

Bill Broderick thinks Manning and the Denver Broncos win on Sunday. Carolina has played three games against teams in the top five in yards-per-play and won all three, none by more than a TD. “I’ve imagined this 50 million times (since) going to the Super Bowl two years ago”. “But I think with Payton Manning being involved and this could be his last ball game, I think it could be a good thing to watch”. “This is what he worked for”.

“It’s been a good week, ” said Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak told a pool reporter in Stanford on Friday. I think Cam Newton is pretty much unstoppable right now. As for Davis, he broke his forearm in the NFC Championship game, but Rivera said that he expects the player to start anyway, just two weeks after undergoing surgery to place screws in his arm.

Newton also provided some advice for people playing Madden NFL 16 as the Panthers, saying he recommends handing the ball to…Cam Newton. “You don’t go 17-1 as a starting quarterback without being awesome”. Cam (Newton) talked about this the other day, about being true to ourselves….

“He’s definitely a unique player”, Talib said.

Looking back to the beginning of the season it was hard to picture either team in this year’s Super Bowl. This is Manning’s second appearance in the Super Bowl with the Broncos and the fourth of his career.

The Denver defenders know one of their biggest challenges will be dealing with Newton’s scrambling ability.

We insist on the Super Bowl being the best of everything, or at the very least the most of something.

One thing that has remained constant throughout the entire National Football League regular season was that the Carolina Panthers have avoided most major injuries.
