Paralympics Open in Rio Under A Financial Cloud

Russian Federation opened an alternative event for national Paralympians banned from the Paralympic Games in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro on September, 7, 2016.

Later, Sport Minister Vitaly Mutko told reporters that he was feeling guilty for the fact that the Russian athletes were excluded from the Paralympic Games in Rio.
