The UK PM, who convened a Cobra emergency response committee meeting on Saturday, said Britain’s terror threat level remained at “severe”, but the Paris attacks would prompt a review.
All seven of the gunmen either blew themselves up or were shot dead by security forces. “They were simply going about their way of life”.
“They were killed and injured by brutal and callous murderers who want to destroy everything our two countries stand for: peace, tolerance, liberty”.
We’d been working with him for years. The fact that he seems to have given his life to save another will be a lasting testament to what a lovely guy he was’. I hold out hope that as many people as possible make it out ok, as well.

“In response to last night’s awful events in Paris, department officials in Paris and in Dublin have been working through the night to monitor the situation and provide consular assistance”, Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan said.
