Passengers stuck on Sky Tower at SeaWorld Orlando
Riders are stuck on the Sky Tower observation tower at SeaWorld Orlando on Monday afternoon, reports CBS affiliate WKMG in Orlando.
A maintenance crew is working to reach them, as well as Orange County Fire and Rescue.
Passengers were trapped for over an hour 400 feet up in the Sky Tower but were finally brought down to the ground.
An unknown number of people is stuck inside a ride at the Sea World water park in Orlando, Florida.
The ocean theme park said authorities were in “constant communications” with those stranded and that everyone was “safe”. “The safety of our guests and team members is SeaWorld’s top priority”, read a statement sent to FOX 35 by SeaWorld.
Currently, 15 firefighters are working with park staff to get passengers down.
The riders were safely back on the ground just before 3:30 p.m., the station reported.
