“My heart breaks for this pastor, their family, and the large church communities that are directly linked to the young family”, he told WND. And said her cause of death was a gun shot wound to the head.
“We believe that when Mr. Blackburn left to go work out, he saw the opportunity to burglarize another home”, Maj.
Because Blackburn was expecting, legal experts say anyone arrested in connection with the crime could be charged with more than her murder, a conviction on which would already send a person to prison for 45 to 65 years.
“Davey’s faith is so strong, that I haven’t said anything to him, he’s encouraged me”.
“Of course, we don’t yet know all the details in this particular case. Anytime she walked in, any conversation, she just made the room brighter”, the pastor said. The murder of Amanda Blackburn in IN is one of those times for Pastor Perry Noble, who is coping with the loss hundreds of miles away in Anderson.
‘When you’re dating and so in love you can forget about all the conflict or the things that might annoy you, ‘ Amanda said in the video. “We’re going to take care of business as one team”. We can host different events. “We’ve knocked on doors to communicate with all of the neighbors”. The couple had recently announced that Amanda Blackburn was 12 weeks pregnant.
They ask that anyone with information about the incident to come forward to police.
Noble said he gave them his blessing. A neighborhood meeting was held that was not open to the media.
The crime watch captain, Ryan McConnell, said at least 60 people attended including the homicide detectives working the case.
Police admit they have few leads. We simply don’t have the luxury of thinking that just because we are inside our homes or churches we are in a foolproof safe haven.
At this time no information has been released on the suspect(s).
Noble said Blackburn’s husband Davey previously worked for the church and helped establish the Greenville campus.
“My wife was such a lovely, gracious, loving woman of God”, Blackburn said in a message to his congregation.
