Patriots handle Rams, 26-10, to make Tom Brady NFL’s winningest QB

If the 39-year-old is forced to miss time, the Patriots would once again have to turn to Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback, who was 2-0 as a starter at the start of the season. Not helping his cause is blink-quick receiver Tavon Austin listed as questionable with a foot injury. He never does. Instead, he will be on the Rams’ sideline, attending to the various medical concerns of Los Angeles players, just as he does as head physician for the Dodgers.

Brady and ElAttrache instantly clicked when they met after the quarterback’s first of four Super Bowl victories.

“We’re in the locker room with a walking legend”, said cornerback Malcolm Butler, whose Super Bowl interception gave Brady his fourth title.

Amendola caught three passes for 30 yards and didn’t receive any snaps in the backfield. Throughout two quarters, this game has been all New England.
