Paul McCartney Coming To Columbus In October
It looks like Paul McCartney is headed to Detroit for his first show here in four years.
Out There is the name of McCartney’s current tour, which on Monday announced a Columbus, Ohio date on Oct. 13 and a Toronto date on Oct. 17. Tickets for the Toronto show, at the Air Canade Centre, go on sale Friday.
The Hey Jude rocker has plenty else on his plate: Projects this year include the FourFiveSeconds single with Rihanna and Kanye West; an appearance on the Saturday Night Live 40th-anniversary special; and, marking his South Korean debut, a gig in Seoul.
This would be McCartney’s first show in Detroit since he played Comerica Park in 2011. Featuring Paul’s band of the last 10+ years – Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums) – the show never disappoints.
In Columbus, American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Thursday August 27 at 10AM EST through Sunday August 30 at 10PM EST. A presale for American Expresss card members in Toronto will take at 10 a.m. EST Aug. 25 through 10 p.m. Aug. 27.
