Paul Pogba: Real Madrid would love to have Paul Pogba – Raul
Raul feels Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba could be a great signing for Real Madrid and has hailed Zinedine Zidane’s development.
The Spain worldwide has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, but it seems the 23-year-old will instead remain at the Bernabeu.
However, Madrid believe Morata is ready to play an important role for them and they will not listen to any offers for him this summer.
The Bianconeri are keen to replace Alvaro Morata after the Spain worldwide returned to Madrid this summer, and the news the 23-year-old will be staying at Santiago Bernabeu has sparked interest in Benzema.
However, Real have now decided they want to keep the 23-year-old following his impressive performances for Spain at Euro 2016, with Morata netting three times for La Roja in France.
The Spanish centre-forward won back-to-back Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia during his two seasons in Turin.
“Pogba is a player that Madrid would love to have – as would any team”, Raul told AS. “He has a great physical presence”. And what I can say is that since he joined the first team I see him more as a coach.
Raul also admitted he was a little surprised to see Zinedine Zidane as the coach of Real Madrid but added the Frenchman has impressed him with the progress he has made in the last few months.
“His great success was to make the players believe in their quality and to send the message that by everyone working together, it would be easy to win the Champions League and hard for anyone to beat them”.
