Paul receiving regular treatment to return for Rockets
They hold onto that dynastic with everything they have.
After Kerr inserted David West, Shaun Livingston and Nick Young for Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green with 2:03 left in the first quarter, the Rockets closed out the first quarter with a 9-2 run.
He did that on Saturday night helping the Warriors to a Game 6 win, getting his rhythm and becoming a scoring machine in the second half, finishing with 35 points including hitting 9-of-14 from three, and having six rebounds.
The Houston Rockets opened up a 17-point edge after one period, couldn’t miss and led the Golden State Warriors by 10 going into half of Game 6 on Saturday night, a contest Golden State had to have to keep its season alive. Not only did the Rockets jump out to a 39-22 lead by the end of the first quarter, but Golden State appeared to be completely unprepared early in the game.
Stephen Curry said the Warriors are encouraged despite falling behind in the series because they believe both games could have gone their way and that a few simple corrections will get them back on track. If there is good news for the Rockets, it’s that they’re playing at home where they are 2-1 against the Warriors in this series and an emotional crowd will be in red cheering for them.
