During Prime Minister’s Questions, the Hampstead and Kilburn MP said: “In our country we have legislation that stops people from entering the country who are deemed not to be conducive to public good”.
Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s call for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslim immigration into the United States received a symbolic but stern admonishment Wednesday from the Portland City Council.
‘I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or colour. “That means if you want to ban all Muslims, you are first going to have to ban me and everyone else”, he wrote. “Whether that’s the Muslim faith, or the Jewish or the Christian, we need to get to the core of the beauty in every religion”.
