PC version coming in January 2016
The page (via NeoGAF) doesn’t mention any specific release date, merely saying “January 2016” as the release window.
A few weeks ago, we saw a listing that said Rise of the Tomb Raider was set for a January release date.
We don’t know a lot about the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider and so far, Crystal Dynamics or Square Enix have yet to comment on the Steam page so the information could be subject to change. Due to the exclusivity deal, the game won’t release on Sony’s platform until “Holiday 2016” at the very earliest. “It’s unclear whether PC players will have access to ‘Baba Yaga” immediately or if the expansion will take some time to port after the base game’s release. There are rumors that the game didn’t sell well because it was released on the same day as Fallout 4, but these can not be confirmed without official sales numbers.
The Steam confirmation is good news for PC gamers who want to see the new video game running on a platform that places no restrictions on the resolution or the frame rate but the two companies have not yet confirmed any details about the launch. And if you’re looking to get your hands on a physical copy, be ready to shell out a bit more at Rs. 1,499. Earlier n the game had been reelased for Xbox 360 and Xbox One but not PS4.
