Pebble Time Round smartwatch to launch in November
The internal processor rests behind a 2.5D Gorilla Glass display, and can be used to schedule calendar events, send text messages, even answer incoming calls, and houses a built-in microphone for voice reply messaging. The newest Pebble Time Round is a thin, round, and light smartwatch, which is now available for pre-orders worldwide through Pebble’s official website and the shipping will be in November. Pebble claims it’s the thinnest full-featured smartwatch you can get, and given the evidence, that may very well be true. Though its entire portfolio of watches has so far been comprised of square designs, Pebble is today introducing its first round smartwatch, the Pebble Time Round.
Furthermore, the small display in the smartwatch is color e-paper. It comes in three finishes, Rose Gold, Black, and Silver.
The Time Round might be the most impressive watchPebble has made yet – it’s very comfortable to wear thanks to its thin profile and light weight, and it just looks like a normal watch you might wear on any given day. For instance, the Timeline feature has been copied in Apple’s watchOS 2. It is always on which is a bonus for telling time.
Instead of a given week long plus battery life available in other Pebble smartwatches, the new Pebble Time Round will you last around… It also charges quickly; in 30 minutes it is already fully charged.
The Pebble smartwatch might just change your mind about the idea of a watch that’s synced to your smartphone.
Pebble also released an SDK enabling developers and partners to bring new and existing Pebble Time apps to the Pebble Time Round screen.
It’s a good thing then that the Time Round smartwatch is a looker with a “female-friendly design”. It is the ideal companion for those people who like their wearable a bit more disguised.
