Pedro wants to leave Barcelona, admits Enrique
Pedro made a match-winning impact, though, scoring the deciding goal moments from the end as Barca recorded a thrilling 5-4 victory over their Primera Division rivals.
Barcelona will not consider selling winger Pedro to Manchester United unless his £21.2m release clause is paid in full, according to Spanish football expert Graham Hunter. United have offered €25million with a further €5million in add-ons and bonuses. His situation is a contradiction because he wants to stay but he always wants more minutes.
And Hargreaves believes Pedro’s aggressive approach would make him an asset to United or any English top flight side who signed him. Pedro has 51 caps for Spain but with three of those coming in 2015.
Pedro also said any potential move would not be about money but playing time and when asked if he wanted to leave Barca, here’s what he had to say. “That’s what I love about him”.
Pedro has had limited chances at Barca due to the presence of players like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, with reports he is close to agreeing a move to England’s United.
“FC Barcelona are travelling to Bilbao, to play the first leg of the Spanish Supercopa against Athletic Club“, the statement said. “I don’t basically understand what he’ll decide on but what ever he’ll have our support”. It was exciting for me and I will always remember I marked the best in the world.
This may come as a major blow for the Red Devils, who had been tipped to sign the 28-year-old after he had taken part in Barca’s UEFA Super Cup encounter with Sevilla [MARCA].
“Manchester?” he said. “Yes, there are nice challenges on all sides”. I’ll continue using the players I think are the best for every game. And Pedro had more than played his part in the team’s success in a spell that brought 14 out of a possible 19 trophies. “These fans and this club are incredible”. We trust ourselves and our strength.
