Smite may be coming to PlayStation 4.
The PlayStation 4 version of Smite will also come with exclusive content such as new skins.
“With over 14 million players worldwide, SMITE continues to grow, and Oceania has been an important piece of the game’s success”. Over 70 different gods are playable in Smite from various types of mythologies along with multiple skins exclusive to the PS4.
As Smite makes its way to PS4, the Closed Beta will introduce several new skins for the gods of Smite, each available exclusively through PS4. Players will unlock Odin’s “World’s Collide” skin by linking their PS4 accounts to their Hi-Rez PC accounts and can access Kulkulkan’s “KuKu4” skin by being a PS Plus member.
Smite: Battleground of the Gods will be released on PlayStation 4 on a yet to be confirmed release date.
The trailer which you can see above was released alongside the announcement and gives you a taste of the gameplay that can be seen in the game. Alternatively you can purchase the founder’s pack for $30 which will unlock all present and future gods in the game for you which is probably the best bang for your buck if you’re planning on playing the game a lot.
