Pence doubles down on call for Clinton to end foundation
The billionaire businessman, whose hard-line approach to immigration and fierce rhetoric propelled him to the GOP presidential nomination, insisted that he’s not “flip-flopping” on the divisive issue as he works to broaden his support two-and-a-half months before the general election. Any walk-back would mark a dramatic reversal for Trump. The billionaire has yet to refute that policy but has instead pushed for banning people from countries with heavy terrorist activity and where the United States government can not adequately vet visa applicants.

Trump’s interview with Fox host Bill O’Reilly comes during a period where his campaign has hinted at a shift in immigration policy, only to deny that any changes are taking place.
If there’s one illegal immigration prescription for which Trump has unwaveringly stood by, it’s his pledge to build a wall on the southern border.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to request for comment. Trump’s national finance chairman Steven Mnuchin said it was a strategic decision not to transfer the money right away.
Before his rally in Akron, Trump visited the local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, and told officers he would end President Obama’s suspension of supplying surplus military equipment to local police departments.
“Mr. Trump is a smart man who uses common sense”, said Jennifer Carter, a small business owner from Barberton, Ohio. “There can be no exceptions”.
“This has become one of their themes”, she said.
Trump has long called for quicker removal of illegal immigrants who become violent. “That’s not what he is supposed to be about”.
Clinton is on a three-day fundraising swing across California.
