Pence: Trump would be a ‘pro-life president’
Pence was named Trump’s running mate July 15 and appeared at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last week.
Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence said during a Friday radio discussion with Hugh Hewitt that he’s holding discussions to do away with Donald Trump’s campaign blacklist on news outlets.
Mike Pence is campaigning in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and he makes clear he opposes abortion.
“When then Gov. Tim Kaine was in office, first thing he did was propose about $4 million in tax increases, on the people of Virginia”, Gov. Pence said.
“I found out about that” incident in Wisconsin, Pence told Hewitt.
Pence has served for more than three years as Indiana’s governor, and has overseen a period of economic growth for the state.

Trump has bashed the corporate world in a way few Republican presidential candidates have before, calling the Chamber of Commerce a “special interest” and saying that rival Hillary Clinton would be “owned by Wall Street” as president.
Yet to reporters on July 7 at a local IN county fair, Pence, when asked by NBC whether he empathized with Cruz and his supporters after Trump’s personal attacks against the former Trump rival, demurred, calling it the realities of a “competitive primary”.
Donald Trump spoke in the same arena back in December, this was more an intimate town hall meeting.
The rally in Waukesha, a suburb of Milwaukee, is Pence’s first solo campaign stop since he joined the ticket almost two weeks ago.
