Pep Guardiola set to announce decision to leave Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed he will announce his future plans next week amid speculation linking him with Manchester City and Manchester United.
“But Guardiola appears to have now made up his mind to leave the German club, who are being tipped to bring Carlo Ancelotti in as his replacement next season”.
Perhaps even more sensationally was the news that Juande Ramos is being lined up to fill in the gap if Jose Mourinho is sacked at Chelsea.
“Tonight, I have no answer”, Guardiola said on Tuesday.

Ancelotti has been linked with a move to Mancester United to replace Louis Van Gaal while Guardiola has been linked to Manchester City but it seems the tables have turned leaving Man Utd as the one’s to lose out. The Bavarian giants hold a five-point lead in the German league ahead of their final game of 2015 at Hanover 96 tomorrow, but the sense of anticipation is building in the Bayern squad over Guardiola’s impending announcement.
According to The Daily Mail, Guardiola avoided giving a firm answer on his future with the club, explaining that we will get “clarity” on the situation in a week’s time.
Last month the Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, admitted that the club had yet to begin negotiations over extending Guardiola’s stay but said talks were scheduled to take place after Bayern’s final match before the winter break against Hannover on Saturday.
“Players come and players go, coaches come and they also go at some point”.
“In the first half, we could have rented the Bayern half as a auto park”, Darmstadt coach Dirk Schuster said.
Guardiola is one of the hottest managers in soccer, having had great success at Barcelona before his tenure in Germany.
However, the Citizens could yet face competition for the multi-time Champions League victor, with their fierce city rivals United also understood to be keen on the Catalan coach.
