Perry, Mayer split again

Katy Perry and on-off boyfriend John Mayer just called it quits for the fourth time, E!

It has long been rumoured that the hit song was written about 25-year-old Taylor’s feud with Katy, and taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Katy told her 72.9 million followers: “Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalises on the take down of a woman…” This is the second break up of the pair this year alone.

A friend close to the couple confirmed that they had split, but noted that “they’re known to make up time and time again, so it’s very possible these two will reunite in the near future”. So, for those few months they had a great time, pretending that it would last – and of course it didn’t, ” a source explained to Radar Online.

Katy Perry will be in Lima, Peru, on September 27 for her Prismatic World Tour.

During a promotion for her new fragrance, Mad Potion, the 30-year-old pop star played lovely assistant to a magician at Hollywood’s Magic Castle.

Katy Perry and John Mayer began their on-again, off-again relationship in 2012, as previously reported via the Inquisitr. Swift’s “Dear John” ballad and Mayer’s womanizing reputation wasn’t enough to scare Perry away.

The couple have been on and off a lot over the past three years, but in interviews, it sounded like the “Who You Love” collaborators were the real deal. The music video featured Katy and John kissing and bull-riding together.
