Person dies in Montgomery Village shooting
On October. 8 around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Drexel Hill Circle in Montgomery Village for the report of a sexual assault.
The victim was initially identified as a woman, but Montgomery County police said on Twitter that it was later determined during medical treatment that he is biologically a man.
Montgomery County Police have released photos of a suspect in connection with a sexual assault last week.
Friends, family and advocates worked with the Montgomery County Police Department to ensure Ziona was properly identified.
The employee said he heard four or five shots and the group – including the gunman, who he said ran east out of the alley – scattered.
In a live interview broadcast on FOX 5 News, an eyewitness said he saw the shooter standing over the victim and firing. But after homicide detectives took a closer look, they determined that may not be the case.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call police. “But this is still early in the investigation, and as we get further and learn more, that could be one of the possibilities”.
