Persona 5 for PS4 and PS3 Delayed to Summer 2016
Atlus is currently live streaming a massive two day Persona stream, culminating in the Persona Stalker Club event at Tokyo Game Show on Saturday.
“[‘Persona” chief director Katsura Hashino] says that at the moments, all the “parts” of “Persona 5′ have been assembled and they’re currently tuning up the gameplay”, wrote Siliconera contributor Sato. Retaining the same eccentric style for which the Shin Megami Tensei franchise is known for, Persona 5 has quickly jumped to the top of our most-wanted list for next year.
Plenty of gameplay footage of the protagonist and his friends, in and out of school, as well a few of the Personas we can expect to command. You will assume the role of a second-year high school student who becomes a Persona-user through an unexpected incident. There was absolutely no way the game was going to be out this holiday season.
You know what helps alleviate the pain of Persona 5’s big delay? In the previous game, we wrote a story that involved having a justice group chase down a bad guy that could easily be feared by just about anyone. The game was initially slated for a Winter 2014 release but then delayed to 2015 shortly after. Atlus has confirmed that a localized English-language release will arrive in North America by the end of 2016.
