Perth Chicken Shop Teaching A Chicken To Use Twitter
If you’ve ever wanted a behind the scenes look at the operations of #AllLivesMatter Twitter or #Menism Twitter and every other ding dong with an internet connection, look no further than this Australian chicken who figured out how to tweet. While it’s hard for many bipeds to articulate concise, 140-character thoughts, Betty, the tweeting hen, has many views to share on her feed.
But a chicken chain in Australia has chose to hire one to run its Twitter account anyway.
If she succeeds, the publication says Betty could get into the Guinness World Records. Betty’s fans have actually been following each of her tweets closely with many of them cheering on her spelling efforts.
We’ve contacted Chicken Treat for more info, but in the meantime, enjoy a few insightful tweet attempts from Betty.
The chain’s CEO, Mimma Battista, told Perth Now that she hopes Betty will appeal to younger demographics.
In a world first, Betty the tweeting chook will be beak to keyboard in a bid to tweet out an actual word.
Still, she’s probably cheaper than a social media intern, and less likely to accidentally post something offensive.
“Even when she was little, she was a good egg”, states the ChickenTreatAU Youtube video.
Tweet away, then, Betty.
